Sylvano O. Kola

Sylvano O. Kola is a founding member of the Bank and has served in the Board since then. He is a visionary leader who strongly advocates that the only way towards growth is to be 'Customer Focused'.

This customer-centric approach has filtered down to every decision and action in VCB. Sylvano is a B. Com. (Hons) graduate from the University of Nairobi and also holds a Postgraduate training in Industrial Textile Technology from Manchester, England.

He established and ran his own firm, textile Industry Services which for many years supplied Industrial machinery and provided technical training and consultancy Services to the Textile Industry in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Sylvano also served as a founding member of the National Standards Council of the Kenya Bureau of Standards as well as Managing Director of Ewaso Nyiro South Development Authority.
